Write a letter to editor of the newspaper for claiming prize which they acknowledged. In your letter, you should say: Details of how you won the prize What the prize you are going to get What actions you expect to be taken

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Ben Jhonson and I am one of the participants who have won a competition held by your newspaper. I am writing to enlighten that I have not received my winning amount yet.

In 1st March, 2020’s paper, you have come up with an initiative named “Follow Traffic Rules” to create awareness among people under which a Poetry Contest was held. The verse of three contestants was to be published in the Sunday’s special edition along with a prize of Rs. 10,000 for each. Fortunately, I won the competition and was thrilled to see my poem acquiring space in your pages.

To my utter surprise, you have not mentioned anywhere the details of how to claim the prize. Moreover, there have not been any initiate such as a mail or a call from your end to inform about the selection. Kindly let me know how, when and where will I be able to get hold of my prize money.
I hope you will respond to my query at the earliest and thank you for considering my verse suitable enough to be printed.

Yours Faithfully,
Ben Jhonson
